About Us

We enjoy a commission and a course most of all. Making felt to a design, or showing a learner how it is made, is the best work there is.

We work by hand. Laying the fleece, wetting and rolling the felt, fulling and finishing, step by step, with care. It is absorbing, physical work, and that is where the difference from a machine-pressed board lies.

We are a small studio making wool felt by hand. To us felt is more than pressed wool: laid and rolled by hand from good fleece, it holds colour and character, and it lasts. That is what our work is about.
